This a a short unfinished film shot on a Canon EOS500D in 1080p, uploaded in 720p as it isn’t the final cut. The film shows a man being stalked. This upload is just showing where I am with it now. After a crit today, the wood scenes may be cut out, and less of the stalkers face shown. But I’ll keep editing to see what works best. Edited and colour corrected in After Effects CS5. STALKER | HD SHORT FILM
Okay so for section 3 of the ‘Narrative’ brief for university I have the opportunity to create my own narrative in whatever media I wish. I have chosen to base mine on a man being stalked. The short film will be shot with a Canon EOs500D and a Sony Handycam all in 1080p HD then edited in Adobe After Effects.Here is a still from the video so far. The stalker is a creepy man who we as the viewer no little about him. He is dressed in a boiler suit holding his head down and has an obsession with the man he stalks. I am shooting the video in a nearby woodland area and will be adding music and visual effects in the final production.
THE UGLY DUCKLING | GROUP PROJECT USING STRING
For this one week project myself, Craig Atkinson and Grace Bond worked together using string to create a children’s story. We chose ‘The Ugly Duckling’ and used different types of string to represent the characters. A weathered piece of string of the Ugly Duckling, Soft yellow wool for the Ducklings and Brown wool for the Mother duck. We also represented the swans with white ribbon. The outcome was powerpoint based showing stills and key text. I’ve uploaded a few photographs from the photo shoot.

BOY A & BOY B | NARRATIVE USING STRING
For stage one in text sequence and interaction, I finished the string project with a deep and strong storyline. Partly based on the 2007 film ‘Boy A’. Using string to tell the story of two characters creating evil and committing murder. They are sent to prison and after begin their new lives reformed.
